Sharp CD-XP300 100-Watt Compact Stereo System Reviews
Got this for Christmas four years ago and it is still running fine!br /br /Pros:br /*Great sound. Very clear. No fuzz.br /*Remote! (ok, nerd...i like remotes...) Has all the buttons/functions you would need, and none you don't. Great range.br /*Rear component sound input. I have my PC sound running through it right now, but you could run anything (game system, DVD player...) through it if you wanted.br /*3 CD changer--not 5, but still plenty.br /*Wakeup/sleep timer. Never failed yet!br /*Simple frontbr /*Double tape deck--lets you dub from another tape, a CD, or the radiobr /*Tuner with programmable channelsbr /*Plenty of power. I hooked up an extra set of speakers for "surround sound" and had no problem!br /*Great layout of front panelbr /*Looks sharp!br /*Front headphone jackbr /*Plenty of programmed "Mixes" (flat, pops, rock, classic, vocal, jazz, x-bass)br /*Speakers look great, and sound better!br /*Programmable playlists--you can lay out an entire playlist from your 3 loaded CD's. I have never done it because I can do it easier through my PC, but it would be kinda neat otherwise!br /*Schedule recording. I know we don't listen to the radio a lot--but if you do and want to schedule a tape to record, this will do it!br /br /br /Cons:br /The ONLY con that I have is that there is no pause button on the stereo itself--only on the remote. br /br /This truly has been a great unit. I am sure for those that want to shake an entire apartment building there are more powerful stereos out there. For anyone that doesn't want to spend a million dollars, this is the unit for you.br /

Not a good system. - -
Though its "overall presentation" might look good, do not be decieved...please. This system is total junk. The CDXP300 died on me in less than a year- one of the speakers stopped working (that is when I insert a CD). Never thought it could get worse, until one day, the CD tray got stuck open. Now I have a stereo with messed up speakers and a CD tray sticking out. Do yourself a favor and don't waste good money on this garbage.
